Kachchhmitra District Community Science Center was established in 2006 and is the only organisation working in area of science popularization. We have organized various workshops, training programs, seminars and conferences till date. In this pendemic, we have continued engaging the public via virtual means, such as hosting sessions on various topics of sciences through Instagram live, zoom & Google Meet events. We are also conducting online quiz competations, as well as other activites directed by GUJCOST.

On 29^th August, 2008, Kachchhmitra District community science center got accrediation/recognition from Gujarat Council on Science and Technology. As seen in photo (1), Shri Vasan bhai Ahir, Dr. J. J. Rawal (Presendent, The Indian Planetary Society), Mr. Akshay Malhotra (C.E.O. The Indian Planetary Society), Dr. M. K. Raval, Shri A. M. Prabhakar (Advisor, GUJCOST), Shri Pushpadan bhai Gadhvi (Member of Parliament), etc. are inaugrating the function.
